We spent a great week-end in Philly with Christopher's cousin - Melina - and her family! It was great - we did Eva's gymnastics on Friday, Jack's soccer on Saturday and Nico's football on Sunday! A full packed week-end but lots of fun...

Our first week-end back we went to a wedding in Reedville, Virginia with all the family... Here are some pictures of Christopher's family.

Halloween in Virginia Beach

Here are some funny pictures of Halloween in Virginia... It is a big thing for the adults to dress up as well... so "if you can't beat them, join them!!". Christopher went as my pimp.. and i had fun with big hair for a day!! The little fairy is our friends' daughter Maddie... The cutest fairy of the night!!!

Going East - Part 6 Virginia Tech

After Denver, we took a few days to drive through Kansas City, St Louis, etc... Funnily enough, no pictures were taken as there really was not much to see. Plus, we were on a mission to get to Christopher's old hunting ground "Virginia Tech"... It was a great stop - and I was finally able to see what all the fuss is about!! Go Hokies...

Going East - Part 5 Denver

After a few stops in some strange, small, deserted towns... we arrived in Denver where we visited our friends Jay and Jen. We had a great time with them and shortly after our visit, Jen gave birth to a healthy baby boy!!!... While in Denver, we made a quick stop at Buffalo Bill's graveyard.. but Leo was bored so we did not stay long!!

Unfortunantely, the weather while we were in Jackson and the Grend Tetons was not great and so our views were not as spectacular as hoped. We still found enjoyed it, especially the peace and quiet. Walking by the lake, as the sun sets, is very relaxing and calming. Leo did not enjoy it so much as he was not allowed on any of the trails or allowed to run around. Our stay was also cut short due to SNOW!!! Yes, we experienced the first snow storm of the area.. and Leo's first snow experience....

Going East - Part 3 Lake Tahoe

This stop was one of our favourite stops on our trip. Lake Tahoe truly is gorgeous - very clean, very friendly, and just beautiful. We went on a 4 hour hike with Leo and he loved it. We would definantely go back there any time - summer or winter as it seems to have lots to do in both seasons.

Going East - Part 2 CA Wine Country

Afterwards, we headed further north, through San Francisco and up the coast a little, before heading in land to the California Wine Country. We were lucky with the weather, even though we started to feel the change from Southern Cal. Also, Leo finally starts feeling more comfortable in the car...
